Some tools just change the way you hear everything else, and over time they help you build a sound that is genuinely you.

I'm Jeff, and I am an AVIXA and BICSI certified A/V systems technician. But, for over ten years before getting into AV installation, I built my foundation of audio knowledge through working in the box with DAW's and plugins. It didn't take long though for me to find that that my true passion is for the irreplaceable warmth from analog circuits and real world recording.

Audio engineering had always just been my hobby though, mostly making beats and recording my friends rock bands. For most of my 20's I worked in professional kitchens, working my way up to Chef de Cuisine of a historic hotel.

But as I got older and wanted to settle down and start a family, I found my dreams and priorities changing. I found myself working in the trades as an electrical apprentice for about a year. While working on larger sites, I met the low voltage guys. After learning what it is they do and what they work on, I knew that was the trade for me.

I started off strong with my working knowledge of computers and networking, but I really proved my worth with my audio knowledge when it came time for AV installations. Now I'm not just working on audio in the box, I'm bringing audio out into the real world!

It's real signal chains, physical installations, and the kind of end-to-end troubleshooting that teaches you why audio fails before it ever reaches a mixer. That background is what I bring to podcast production and sonic branding at Lime Creek Audio. I work in Ableton Live with a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8, a hardware and software sound design setup that includes the Minimoog Voyager Performance Edition, and a toolkit built around one standard: broadcast-ready sound, every time.

I would love to work with culinary and hospitality podcasters, as the years I spent in professional kitchens before moving into A/V gives me a genuine ear for the pacing and atmosphere that makes food content work. But the technical side stands on its own regardless of niche: clean dialogue restoration, original composition, and LUFS-compliant masters for Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all major platforms.

If your content is strong but your sound hasn't caught up yet, that's exactly the gap I work in. Let's work together to build your sonic identity for your brand.
