Indie-Folk Co-Write & Writers Demo: From First Idea to Production-Ready Song for $300
If you’ve got the beginnings of something – a voice note, a half-written lyric, a chord progression that feels like it’s going somewhere, or just a feeling you haven’t quite found the words for yet – I can help you turn it into a finished song.
A lot of songs get stuck halfway, and if you know you're onto something but can't quite finish it, then lets talk! I'm a London-based songwriter and producer who works in the world of Phoebe Bridgers, Father John Misty and Lizzy McAlpine - honest, guitar-led indie-folk with real human emotion. Music I've worked on has been placed on NBC and Discovery Channel and has received over a million streams, but what I care most about is the song itself: making sure it says exactly what it needs to say, in a way that feels completely true to you.
Here's what you'll get:
A fully co-written song - melody, lyrics, chord structure and arrangement direction captured as a polished writer's demo, ready to be dropped into a session by a producer and produced around. A voice-and-guitar blueprint that captures the song in its rawest, clearest form, ready to hand to any producer and take straight into full production.
Here's what we'll do:
We'll start with a chat - ideally a video call, or just a few messages back and forth - just to get a sense of what you’re trying to say and where the song might live. From there I’ll help shape it into something that holds together properly. This could involve exchanging google docs, or having remote songwriting sessions. You'll come away with a recorded demo of our co-write alongside a chord chart and lyric sheet.
Here's what happens next:
If you'd like to take the song into full production after this, that's something we can discuss as a separate service. Many artists use this stage to find their own producer, shop the song, or simply live with it for a while before committing to a full recording - all of which works perfectly from a writer's demo!
This is for you if you make music in the indie, folk or singer-songwriter world and you want a collaborator who will serve your song rather than impose a sound on it.
