Session Guitar — Solos, Harmonies & Counter-Melodies for $250

I don't play guitar on a song simply to show you what I can play.

I play for the song.

After more than 40 years of playing, writing, producing and making records, I've learned that the best guitar part isn't necessarily the most complicated one. It's the part that makes the song better, whether that's a memorable solo, a supporting harmony, a counter-melody, a ride-out, or a rhythm part that gives the track exactly what it needs.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist, producer, engineer and mixer with extensive experience making commercially released records. I work from my own professional studio and approach every session from the perspective of the entire record, not just the guitar track.

THIS SERVICE CAN INCLUDE:

• Electric guitar solos
• Lead guitar
• Guitar harmonies
• Counter-melodies
• Ride-outs and outro parts
• Rhythm and supporting guitar
• Melodic fills and transitional parts
• Custom guitar parts written specifically for your song

My specialty is melodic, emotional guitar playing that serves the song. I can play with restraint when the song calls for it, or step forward when the guitar needs to become a featured voice.

My influences and experience span classic rock, hard rock, country, country rock, Americana, blues, folk and adult contemporary, with decades of experience working across different styles.

I record everything from my professional home studio using professional instruments, amplification, recording equipment and Pro Tools.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

• One primary guitar contribution for your song
• Professional recording of the agreed-upon guitar part
• Clean, edited, mix-ready audio files
• One reasonable revision
• Musical consultation regarding the part when needed

Before I record, I'll listen to the song carefully and consider the arrangement, vocals, existing instrumentation and overall emotional direction. My goal isn't simply to fill space, it's to find the guitar part that belongs there.

If you already know exactly what you want, I'll execute it.

If you're looking for someone to bring musical ideas to the table, that's something I enjoy just as much.

Three demonstration reels are included with this service showing examples of my solo work, harmonies and counter-melodies, and other guitar approaches.

Let's make the record better.
