Look at me now

Look at me now

Look at Me Now” is a song I wrote together with my sister, and it means a lot to both of us. We’ve been through moments where people doubted us, talked down to us, or made us feel like we would never amount to anything. That’s exactly where this song comes from.
While writing it, we talked about old memories, the painful ones, the ones that still stick but also about how far we’ve come since then. The song starts soft and almost fragile, just like the feeling of doubting yourself. Then the chorus hits loud, bold, and unapologetic. That “look at me now” isn’t meant to brag. It’s more like a scream of freedom: I struggled, I stayed, and I became stronger.
What makes this song so special for us is that we created it together. Our voices sound different, but that’s what makes it powerful, you can hear both sides of the story. The hurt and the growth. The doubt and the pride. It almost feels like we’re singing to each other and lifting each other up.
“Look at Me Now” is our reminder to ourselves and to anyone listening:
No matter who doubts you, no matter how many times you fall… you get to decide who you become.
