All or Nothing
All or Nothing is my second full-length album as The Simon Kennedy Band—a powerful blend of blues, gospel, funk, and soul, rooted in faith and raw human experience. Where my debut album Make Up Your Mind introduced the sound, All or Nothing turns up the intensity—both musically and thematically.
This record is all about commitment: to truth, to hope, to grace. It explores themes of redemption, perseverance, spiritual hunger, and the struggles of everyday life. From the playful grit of “Jacket Potato” to the gospel power of “Spirit of God” and the resurrection joy of “On That Morning,” each track brings something fresh yet grounded.
Musically, the album showcases tight grooves, heartfelt vocals, vintage tones, Hammond organ textures, and lyrical depth. Tracks like “Justified” and “Without Love” bring theological weight with soulful clarity, while “Broken Man” and “Dead End Blues” offer bluesy honesty for life at the edge.
I co-wrote and produced every track with the goal of making something spiritually true and musically excellent—music that moves the heart as much as the feet.
