Why
"Why" was written and produced in January 2023. Life was really lifing at the time. I was setting up my first studio ever. I had made it a habit to stay up during the night writing songs and sleeping during the day. The song was produced within 3-5 hours and for the rest of the session we were just vibing. My friend Mo made the drums at first and then we started playing with bassline ideas. I dont remember what came first, the lyrics or the chords. It's all a blur. I do remember the excitement and butterflies in my stomach when the gibberish in my notebook became the chorus and I do recall the first time I recorded it on the mic and we were like.. damn this sounds good... i do remember also that the light in the studio was blue🌊🌊🌊
