The Best of N-I-L

N-I-L is a fictitious artist's name comprised of the first letter of each person's first name that is on the majority of these songs. My name is Nick (N) and the two Airgigs musicians Ivan (I) and Laura (L) that I worked with first starting in November 2023 and subsequently most often. I wanted to have my music under a name, but not my full name for privacy reasons. When I decided on the name N-I-L after the third song that we worked on I asked both Ivan and Laura for their approval of using the first letter of their name's. They both approved, but they may not recall that now. 😂

My main goals for recording was and is as much as possible to not sound like other artists. Try to make diversified music and not be bound by any specific genre. Create music organically without forcing a genre or ideology. To have fun.

I feel that those goals have all been reached. All the while working with great musicians/people. Without their skills, professionalism and often times their willingness to go above and beyond none of my songs would have been fully created.

Other than Ivan and Laura I have worked with many other Airgigs musicians employing their services often multiple times. I don't really like the term "my songs" or "my music" as I feel that every song is a joint effort. Often times with musicians that are much more talented and experienced than I am. I rely on their creativity to improve my ideas and the basic form of songs that I submit orders to them with. I have all of them to thank. Also Mariano (sound engineer) at SonicSynthesis Studio.
