“In Between” is a wavy, melodic R&B record about navigating the gray area between attachment and freedom — when you’re caught between staying close and pulling away. The vocals slide between smooth melodies and rap-inflected cadences, keeping it cool while the lyrics quietly unpack what’s really going on.
I wrote, recorded, and arranged this one solo, aiming for a vibe that feels effortlessly intimate but undeniably sharp. The production leans minimal with moody low-end and ambient textures that let the vocal do the talking.
This record even got a major nod from T-Pain himself during one of his live Twitch reviews — co-signing the vibe and the vocal delivery.
