Burlesque Inquest
Funny song originally titled Jiggle your boob. However, with the political correctness these days I knew I could never record such a song. That idea came about innocently enough though. It was a comment that a female staff member made one day when she noticed whenever another woman became upset, she violently shook her finger in your face and her whole upper body jiggled. She said "She does the booby dance"
When I was writing new songs for the album, I said to my girlfriend, too bad I can't use this song and she said, "Well, unless you change the lyrics" and I thought but then it would lose its charm and then added, "Unless I made it about the dying industry of burlesque" and a smile lit over my face and I went about to work like a mad scientist in my laboratory re-crafting the lyric
