Motherland - Buffalo Souljah
I had the honour of working with African heavyweight artist Buffalo Souljah, a multi-award winner including AFRIMMA and Channel O Music Awards. We collaborated on his most recent album, released in September 2025, on which I produced 16 of the 18 tracks.
The entire project was completed within one month, covering beat production, vocal recording, mixing, and mastering. Remarkably, this was our first time meeting in person, with me traveling from Cape Town specifically for the project.
The biggest challenge was executing all creative ideas—production, recording, mixing, and mastering—within an extremely tight timeframe, as the artist wanted to release the album on his birthday, just three weeks after we began. Despite the pressure, we successfully met the deadline.
I’m incredibly proud of this project, as it showcases a wide musical range, spanning Amapiano, Afrobeats, Dancehall, and Reggae.
