DRESSED LIKE AN OCEAN - ...A WINGED CODA FROM MY LEECHING ARMS
A Winged Coda from My Leecings Arms was built from a raw, personal place—turning restless thoughts, fractured memories, and pressure into loud, melodic catharsis. Lyrically, the album moves through themes of exhaustion, self-conflict, distance, and survival, balancing vulnerability with intensity.
In this project, I handled the record end-to-end as the songwriter, composer, arranger, and mixing/mastering engineer. I wrote the lyrics and core song structures, composed the harmonic and melodic foundations, and shaped each track through arrangement—refining dynamics, transitions, and instrumental layers to keep the energy focused and the narrative clear. In mixing and mastering, I aimed for impact without losing character: punchy drums, tight low-end, wide guitars, and vocals that cut through dense sections, delivering a cohesive, translation-ready album while preserving its raw attitude.
