Odiami - Il Drenaggio

Odiami - Il Drenaggio

I recorded the guitars by starting with a clean take on my main instrument, a warm-sounding dreadnought acoustic. I placed a condenser microphone about twenty centimeters from the 12th fret to capture clarity, and a second mic near the bridge for extra body. I tracked multiple passes, focusing first on timing and then on dynamics, so each layer would feel natural and not overly processed. After that, I double-tracked the main rhythm part, panning the two takes left and right to create a wider stereo image. I added a lightly compressed fingerpicking line to bring more texture to the arrangement. All the takes were recorded in a quiet room during the evening, when the ambience felt still enough to keep noise to a minimum.
