That’s exactly what I do. I don’t overplay, and I don’t overpromise. I just deliver the kind of drum sounds and performances that melt into the mix — like they were always meant to be there.

🥁 What You Get
- Custom full-kit drum recording (15–20 stems total, usually 12–16 from the kit + percussion)
- Percussion overdubs (shakers, tambourine, etc.) included — no extra charge
- Mix-ready stems with custom processing (EQ, compression, reverb, saturation, etc.)
- An example mix of my drums in your song
- An isolated drums(and perc) stereo mix
- A screenshot of my Logic mix window as a starting reference
- We schedule a session date and I get you the final stems that same day
- Optional: Separate takes if you'd prefer to comp yourself

If the song calls for grid-tight drums, I’ll get them there. If it calls for brushes on a cardboard box, I’ve done that too. I’m here to serve the emotion of your music — not my ego.

🧰 My Gear & Setup
- I record in a treated home studio using Logic Pro. My setup includes:
- Two drum sets that I mix and match per song
- Three unique snares with varied character
- Two sets of Meinl Byzance cymbals
- A growing collection of percussion and textures
- Strategic mic placement and years of tone-shaping tricks
- Just honest, engineered sounds that fit the song

🎯 My Process
Once I receive your song and any reference notes or files (“dreamy but driving”, "love the snare sound in "x" song", a sampled drum loop, etc.), I spend the morning immersed in your track. I craft sounds first — tuning, mic choice, processing — and let the emotion of the song steer the performance.

You’ll get a first draft within a few hours of my studio session (usually around 11am–noon MST). From there, we go back and forth as needed. My goal is always the same: to hand you a drum comp you love. Within the usual timeframe (same-day, 11am–2pm MST), I offer essentially unlimited tweaks to get there.

🤝 A Note on Pricing
My rate reflects the time and care I put into every track. I don’t cut corners — I chase whatever the song really needs. If you’re working on a tighter budget, I’m open to a conversation. I’d rather collaborate than miss the chance to help a great song come to life.
