Hi, my name is Adriaan, aka Ria. My goal is to provide you with drums that enhance the impact of whatever your message is, be it to make people dance, cry, dream, or anything else. I enjoy getting to know people and their music, and love collaborating to make something that provokes goosebumps.

We figure out together what energy you want to capture in your music. Then I write, perform and record drums that fit the whole. I'm sound and groove focussed, and both influence one another.

I believe every piece tries to communicate something. The heart of that message can be in the vocals, lyrics, ambience, arrangement, performance; you name it. Let's find out together what it is and how I can enhance it. Some genre's I love: Hip-Hop, (Neo) Soul, Afro-Beat, Pop, Singer-Songwriter, and many more.

Gear is not the most important, but definitely makes a difference. I carefully built my setup over the years. At the heart are SSL pre-amps paired with mics that get the job done in the way I want, and the setup is versatile. I record and mix in my own studio in Diemen, near Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
