With over 30 years of experience playing six-string bass, as well as recording music, I can significantly enhance your music production. My bass playing has been influenced by a diverse range of artists, including Flea, Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorious, Bootsy Collins, Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, Stanley Clarke, Geddy Lee, Norwood Fisher, John Paul Jones, Paul Jackson, Stu Hamm, and James Jamerson. This wide array of influences has given me a broad range as a bassist. I am well-versed in slap and pop and two-hand tapping or can just lay down the groove either with finger technique or a pick, depending on the desired sound. I can hang back and offer a solid foundation or do something more pronounced and progressive. I excel in improvisation and can handle a wide variety of genres.

I’m a seasoned recording engineer and producer-artist. All my work takes place in my professional 2500 sq ft music studio, complete with acoustically treated live and amp rooms. My arsenal includes top-notch modern and vintage gear, including quality amps and mics in addition to tasty DI options, combined with a fine selection of bass guitars to choose from to home in on the sound you want. The recordings are captured digitally at sampling rates up to 96KHz

This price includes a bass track up to 5 min. It can be fretted or fretless bass. I have the subscription option for those interested in multiple tracks at a discount.

The process begins with you sharing the song. We’ll discuss style, tone, and creative direction by video call from the studio. I’ll return with a brief sample recording based on our chat. Up to two demos can be included if needed. Once it all sounds good, I’ll record and deliver the final track. I prefer this approach it’s a more natural creative process. Let’s find what the music needs, and I’ll get it right the first time. But if you decide that final track needs some tweaks, I do include one revision, just in case. If unsure I'm the right fit for the job, start with the first sample recording and consultation for $100.

The entire process can take about 8-10 days, sometimes sooner depending on my availability. Please feel free to inquire if you are on a tight deadline and need to get specific with turnaround or need something rushed.
