I'm Gavin Sharp, a Christian and Country songwriter. Every song I write comes straight out of my own life — I don't write fiction, I write what I lived. The mistakes I made, the bottle I had to put down, the people who stuck by me and the ones who gave up, and the God who never stopped coming after me. That's where these songs come from: worship songs like "Waiting," "Talk to Me Jesus," and "Armor of God," and country songs like "Days Go By," "Watch Me," and "I Can't."
My process is simple: I write the songs and record them myself first, then I clean up the recordings and bring in professional vocalists to give each song the polished voice it deserves. "Days Go By" has already become a favorite with listeners, and I'm just getting started — I have many more songs written and ready.
I'm building a career as a songwriter one song at a time, and I'm looking to build real, long-term relationships with singers — finding the permanent voices for my music. The songs are mine; the voice could be yours.
