Tuyo Soy - Tania Sauceda

“Tuyo Soy” by Tania Sauceda is a project where I was able to be involved in nearly every stage of bringing the song to life. I served as the producer, arranger, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer, taking the record from its musical foundation through the final master.

As producer and arranger, my role was to help shape the overall direction of the song—developing the instrumentation, dynamics, transitions, and musical moments so that the arrangement supported Tania’s performance and gave the song a clear emotional arc. I wanted every element to feel intentional, with enough space for the vocal and message to remain at the center of the record.

Once the production was complete, I also handled the full mix, bringing the individual parts together into a cohesive sound. My focus was on creating clarity, depth, energy, and movement while preserving the musicality of the arrangement and making sure Tania’s vocal remained the emotional focal point.

I then mastered the final mix myself, which allowed me to carry the sonic vision of the project all the way through to the finished release. Because I had been involved from the earliest production decisions, I was able to approach the mastering stage with a clear understanding of how I wanted the final record to translate and feel.

Tuyo Soy is a good example of how I like to work as a producer and mixer: looking at the record as a whole rather than treating production, arrangement, mixing, and mastering as completely separate processes. Every stage should ultimately serve the same goal—helping the artist’s performance and the heart of the song come through as clearly and powerfully as possible.
