Reinará Por Siempre - Jorge Vielman

Reinará Por Siempre is Jorge Vielman’s first project as a solo artist, and one of the projects I’m most proud to have helped shape. I served as the producer, arranger, and mixing engineer for the EP, working closely with Jorge to develop the musical identity of the project from the production stage through the final mixes.

The EP includes “Jesús Mi Rey,” “¿Quién Es Como Nuestro Dios?,” “Dame Un Corazón,” and the medley “Bendito Sea El Señor / Trono De Poder.” Musically and lyrically, the project moves through celebration, surrender, and worship. One of our goals was to create something that felt contemporary and polished while remaining deeply connected to congregational worship and the Latin church experience.

As producer, I worked on the arrangements and overall sonic direction of the songs, blending modern worship and CCM production with Latin, African, and congregational influences. I wanted the record to have energy and scale without losing the sense that these were songs meant to be sung and experienced together.

The project also brought together some great musicians. Ish Melton recorded drums throughout the EP, helping give the songs a powerful live foundation. Mike X Zuñiga played bass on “Jesús Mi Rey,” and David Isaías Calles played piano and collaborated on the arrangement of “Bendito Sea El Señor / Trono De Poder.” David and Jorge had worked together years earlier in Nuevo Pacto San Salvador, so bringing that musical relationship back into the project was especially meaningful. His piano playing alongside Jorge’s voice also helped reconnect the project with a sound that has been part of Nuevo Pacto’s musical identity for years.

When it came time to mix, my goal was to bring all of those elements together into something that felt big, clear, musical, and emotionally dynamic—giving the drums impact, creating space for the instrumentation and arrangements to breathe, and keeping Jorge’s voice and the message of each song at the center.

Jorge Vielman served as executive producer, and the project was mastered by Jorge Santos.

For me, Reinará Por Siempre represents the kind of work I love most: taking a worship project from its musical foundation and arrangements all the way through production and mixing, while making sure every creative decision continues to serve the song and its purpose.
