I took over the full mixing and mastering for a multi-track EP, focusing on a tight, high-energy modern sound.
The Challenge: The goal was to create a distinct, punchy sonic identity across all tracks on the EP. The music featured dense arrangements with heavy riffs, aggressive drums, and dynamic vocals that needed to sit perfectly in the mix without losing their clarity or impact.
The Solution: Using my manual, no-AI workflow, I cleaned up the low-end, aligned the heavy guitar walls, and shaped the transients for maximum punch. In the mastering stage, I ensured all tracks sounded cohesive as a unit and achieved competitive streaming loudness ready for Spotify.
