SYMPTOMS
Symptoms is an exploration of the emotional cycle I go through when I fall for someone. Each track represents a distinct “symptom” – a feeling or behavior that emerges as attachment grows. The album begins with “Delusion”, capturing the initial infatuation and idealization, and moves through stages of fear of abandonment, trauma bonding, emotional detachment.
As the album progress, the emotional intensity builds, culminating in “Relapse” a moment where the cycle repeats, and the same patterns start again. The structure mirrors the way emotions can feel cyclical: the highs, the lows, and the recurring patterns that seem impossible to break.
By framing each song as a symptom, the album turns personal emotional experiences into a musical narrative – a reflection of attachment, longing, and the push-and-pull of falling in love. “Symptoms” is both intimate and raw, showing the beauty and pain of repeating emotional cycles.
