Star Spangled Banner🇺🇸
My project is a modern reinterpretation of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” recorded in Brooklyn, New York.
Rather than approaching it as a traditional patriotic performance, I focused on structure, control, and emotional precision. The goal was to present the anthem not as something exaggerated, but as something understood, a system, a discipline, and a symbol of resilience.
Vocally, I aimed for a restrained and confident delivery, gradually building intensity without losing clarity. The production direction blends cinematic elements with a modern minimal approach, allowing the vocal to remain at the center while still creating depth and atmosphere.
This version is not about imitation or tradition alone, it is about perspective. As someone working across cultures, I wanted to reflect a more global, thoughtful interpretation of what the anthem represents today.
