What should it sound like? for $65

This service is designed for artists who are mixing their own music and are having difficulty getting each instrument to be heard clearly in mix.

One of the mistakes many new recording artists make is they try to record sounds similar to what they are hearing on their favorite albums and songs.
What these artists are failing to consider is that what they are hearing on those albums is not what was recorded, yet rather what was created after EQ and other processing was applied during mixing and mastering.
As a result they tend to record at levels that are too loud and to EQ their recording with excessive bass, mid, or high frequencies that will only become more harsh and brittle after mastering.

How this service works:
This service is best suited for recording artists who compose, perform, record and mix their own songs, yet who are having difficulty getting a part to sit well in a mix.
1. Send me a recording. It may be an individual track ,such as rhythm guitar; a bass line, a sub-group (stem) mix), such as a drum mix; or a full mix, where you are having trouble getting the individual parts to be heard equally and with clarity in your mix.
2. Describe the problem you are having in detail.
3. I will provide precise advice on setting recording levels and EQ settings to assist you with correcting the problem in order to have your individual sounds sit better in a mix or advise you on how to rerecord the problem part correctly.
4. If you sent in an individual multi-track file, and I determine it is useable in a mix but just needs a few tweaks, I will readjust the levels and EQ to help it sit better in a mix and send you that file. If not I will tell you what is wrong and how to rerecord that part.
