As your mix engineer, I want to be your partner in sound. You've tracked out your song, edited it down to the best takes, and now you need somebody with the ears and experience to bring your song to life. You want a unique mix that adds a creative touch while staying true to your artistic vision. Whether you recorded in a bedroom or in a world-renown studio, I can make your music vision come to life.

While I can't name-drop like some mix engineers on here, I've been mixing for over 10 years on a variety of projects. I'm also new to this platform, so I don't have many ratings at the moment! Please don't let that detract you from hiring me. I have extensive experience, and promise to give you a great sound and exceptional service.

Base rate: $150/song for songs less than 5 minutes and having up to 16 sound sources. I will provide a competitive quote for larger compositions.
This price includes the final audio mastering and up to 4 mix revisions per song.
Turnaround time for the initial draft mix is 1 week per song from the time I receive all of your audio files.
Add-ons:
Timing touchup: $75/song (I will adjust the timing on all tracks to sync with a specific BPM or reference track.)
Vocal tuning: $75/vocal track (I will use Celemony Melodyne for transparent vocal pitch correction.)

How I work:

I mix mostly "in the box" using Ableton Live in an acoustically treated space using my NS10 clone reference monitors. I do some external effects processing, but most of the processing is done with plugins from the Izotope Ozone and NI Komplete production suites.

Once I have a mix that sounds good in my reference monitors, I will test it in a number of conventional audio listening environments to check for any inconsistencies.

From there, I'll turn over the initial draft mix to you for listening. The draft mix will be in compressed format with the last few seconds of the song removed.

At this point I will make any mix revisions you request and work to make sure you're 100% happy with the sound.

After I've received payment, I will send you the full uncompressed mix files. You'll get the highest fidelity mastered and unmastered WAV files, CD-quality WAV files ready for publishing, high-quality MP3 versions ready for radio promo, and the final edited tracks for remixes, etc.

Special mixes such as radio edits, instrumental versions, etc. can be purchased for an additional $40 per mix.
