Great vocal timing isn't about putting every syllable perfectly on the grid. It's about helping vocal performances work together naturally while preserving their expression, phrasing, and musicality.

With 25+ years of experience as a musician, mixing engineer, and producer, I approach vocal timing with a musician's ear and careful attention to your performance.

• Natural timing correction and alignment of ONE vocal track
• Lead vocal timing correction against the song's instrumental OR alignment of one double, harmony, or ad-lib track to a reference lead vocal
• Phrase, word, and syllable-level timing adjustments as needed
• Preservation of natural phrasing, expression, and vocal character
• Edited, consolidated WAV file ready for mixing
• First delivery within 3 days of receiving all required files
• 2 revision rounds
• Revisions delivered within 2 business days of receiving your feedback

The base package covers one song up to 5 minutes, with approximately 3 minutes of active vocal performance.

DOUBLES, TRIPLES, HARMONIES & AD-LIBS

Have additional vocal tracks? No problem!

- Large backing vocal arrangements: custom quote

Each independently recorded vocal performance counts as a separate track. Reference tracks are not charged unless they also require editing.

I'll align your backing vocals to the lead while preserving the natural differences that give layered performances their character.

Some vocals benefit from tighter, more contemporary timing. Others need only subtle adjustments that preserve the natural push and pull of the performance.

I'll work toward the feel you want, whether that's polished precision or an organic, human groove.

A FEW DETAILS

Please provide clean, edited/comped vocal WAV files exported from the same session start time, plus a reference lead vocal and/or instrumental mix.

If the lead vocal requires timing correction before aligning backing vocals, it counts as an additional edited track.

Pitch correction, extensive comping, audio restoration, mixing, and mastering are separate services. Complex editing may require a custom quote.

Two revisions cover adjustments to the agreed timing approach. New recordings, additional tracks, or major changes in direction are quoted separately.
