My approach to mixing is based on organic sound, musical balance, and preserved dynamics. Rather than replacing the character of a recorded performance, I focus on enhancing what was actually captured.

I work with the original recorded tracks and do not use drum replacement or triggering to fundamentally change the sound of the drum kit. I also don't work with MIDI drum tracks.
