Debut EP/Album artwork

We’re Missing Years, a punk rock band from NSW, Australia, currently finishing our first five-track EP, Dying Well, and we’re looking to commission an artist to collaborate with us on the visual identity for the release.

We’re after something distinctive and atmospheric rather than a literal illustration of the title or songs. We’re drawn to underground punk and alternative illustration, comic/graphic art, cinematic or surreal imagery, strong simpl ... e compositions, considered colour, halftone and aged-print textures.

The record has darker, horror and sci-fi influences, but we don’t want generic horror artwork or obvious clichés. We’d much rather find an artist whose existing style we love and allow their ideas to shape the finished result.

The initial commission requires:
• Front cover artwork
• Back cover/layout for track listing and credits
• Artwork suitable for CD and vinyl
• Digital/streaming version
• Print-ready high-resolution files with commercial usage rights

There may also be additional work creating individual artwork for each of the five tracks.

We’re looking for original artist-created work, not generative AI artwork.

Please send through your portfolio, approximate pricing and availability if interested.
