Male singer with clear voice to re record an old party song

This is an old song, my first, and I am now ready to have it polished by a male singer. The song and resulting video will be on the channels and author platform that I am starting to build. It came from a poem in one of my books.

I like the melody and beat but the voice is not clear and the original production is poor.
Suggest a music style if you feel you have something better.
The biggest part for me is clarity of the voice and not having instrument overpower the song.
