Acoustic Session Drummer Needed – Multitrack Drums + MIDI Triggers

I’m looking for a professional session drummer to record acoustic drums for a commercial Pop-Rock/Rock production.

• Complete drum reference will be provided

IMPORTANT: I am not looking for a new drum arrangement. The existing programmed/reference drums should be reproduced as closely as possible, including groove, fills, accents, dynamics and song structure, whi ... le retaining the natural feel of a real drummer.

DELIVERY:

I need individual RAW, unprocessed WAV tracks from the acoustic performance.

Preferred multitrack setup:
• Kick In
• Kick Out
• Snare Top
• Snare Bottom
• Individual Toms
• Hi-Hat
• Ride
• Overheads L/R
• Room L/R
• Additional useful room/character microphones are welcome

No printed EQ, compression, gating, limiting, saturation or reverb on the RAW tracks.

MIDI / TRIGGERS:

I strongly prefer acoustic triggers on kick, snare and toms, with MIDI captured from the SAME acoustic performance.

The MIDI should preserve the drummer’s original timing and velocities and should not be destructively quantized.

The acoustic recording will remain the foundation of the production; MIDI will only be used as an additional reinforcement/sound-design option during mixing.

A stereo drum reference mix is also welcome in addition to the RAW multitracks.

This recording is intended for a commercial release, so the delivered drum performance, audio tracks and MIDI must be cleared for unrestricted commercial use in the final production.
