Wedding Processional Piano Arrangement & Recording – A Thousand Years / I Won’t Give Up

Hi! We’re looking for someone to create and record a bespoke solo piano piece for our wedding ceremony.

We’d love it to blend elements/melodies from A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz, if the two can be woven together naturally. I Won’t Give Up will be our first dance song later in the day, so we love the idea of subtly introducing elements of it during the ceremony as a little musical connection between the two m ... oments.

This piece will be for our six bridesmaids to walk down the aisle, so we’re looking for something soft, romantic, flowing and understated. We don’t want a dramatic medley or any of the big/climactic moments from either song. We’d like to save that emotional build for the bride’s entrance.

We’re imagining approximately 1:30–2 minutes of gentle solo piano, moving naturally between recognisable elements of the two songs without building to a big finish.

However, if the two songs don’t blend naturally, we’re absolutely happy to take your advice. In that case, we’d love an extended piano arrangement that complements A Thousand Years, perhaps using some of its softer musical elements, but deliberately avoids the big moments.

Once the bridesmaids are in place, we’ll transition into The Piano Guys’ piano and violin version of A Thousand Years for the bride’s entrance. Ideally, the ending of your arrangement would lead naturally into the beginning of that recording so it feels like one continuous musical journey rather than an abrupt change of track.

Overall, we’re looking for something romantic, elegant, emotional and delicate, with the bigger musical moment reserved for the bride’s entrance.

We’d need a high-quality WAV and/or MP3 suitable for playback during the ceremony.
