Experienced Male Alternative / Punk / Metal Vocalist + Topliner — Featured Artist Credit

BLACKTYDE is seeking an experienced male alternative, punk, hard-rock or metal vocalist/topliner to become the featured artist on a dark electronic/house single, working title “WTF Was That?” We want a distinctive artist whose voice can define the release: BLACKTYDE feat. [Artist Name].

TRACK: 4:00 production, 128 BPM, E minor, 4/4. Physical low end, noir atmosphere and negative space around a short command hook. The lights vanish, the bass hit ... s once, the room seems to pull backward, and the singer asks what happened. It should feel dangerous, surreal and believable—not comic or novelty-driven.

VOCAL: Intimate close-mic restraint; conversational menace/disbelief; credible sneer or controlled rasp; rhythmic consonants; full chest shout with intelligible words; strong dynamics. Baritone or lower/mid tenor may fit, but character matters more. Alternative, punk, post-punk, industrial, hard-rock or metal experience preferred. Harsh texture as an accent is welcome if you also have controlled clean range. Not seeking nonstop screams, theatrical power-metal delivery, polished pop oversinging or imitation.

CREATIVE: The title hook, narrative, arrangement and guide cadence exist. We can preserve the writing or develop additional lyrics/topline. Arc: restrained witness early, growing disbelief through the build, then a controlled full-force final payoff.

CREDIT/DEAL: Stephen Southin is the sole writer, composer and producer. Open to (1) flat-fee/full-buyout performance with BLACKTYDE feat. [Artist Name] credit, or (2) a negotiated co-write if we use substantial original lyrics/topline from the selected artist. Fee, credit, commercial master use, and any publishing or master participation will be agreed in writing before recording. Featured credit is available under either path.
