Compose song for daughter's wedding

My daughter is getting married and I, as the father, was looking for "our" song and planning my speech to the new couple. My thoughts have led me to a potential title and a story line for the song.
I would be looking for a songwriter. I am not a singer nor song writer. Trying to determine if I'm not stealing anything, re-writing something that already exist...etc. . Is this even a valid thought....very unsure at tis time.
My thoughts for a singer, b ... and: singer that has a married daughter who could feel and project what I'm feeling from their own experience. I'm not in the business at all and this might be a wild goose hunt altogether,

I have no idea as to what budget and other needs I would have. I am not in the industry so I have no idea as to what I would need to do or expect. I would need that directional guidance as well. Even if this is a feeble attempt, someone to let me how to proceed or not go forward. No real deadline, her wedding is mid-September. I'd be open to anything as I have no idea what to do.
