Im looking for Spanish guitar and/or keys to take the hook section to the next level. The vibe and groove are already there, but I need someone to add the finishing touches and elevate the hook so my vocalist has something inspiring to build a strong topline around.
The hook starts at bar 5 and runs through bar 13. Tempo is 120 BPM.
I’m thinking something that matches the serious/emotional vibe of the record but makes the hook feel bigger and more memorab ... le. Maybe nylon Spanish guitar with tasteful melodic runs, counter-melodies, muted rhythmic strums, and a rising lick near the end of the hook to help create lift going into the next section.
For keys, I’m open to warm Rhodes, soft piano, emotional 7ths/9ths, atmospheric chords, or subtle movement underneath the vocal. Nothing too busy — the goal is tasteful elevation, not overplaying.
I need something that adds emotion, movement, and replay value while still leaving space for the vocalist. This should help take the record into the stratosphere and give the hook that final polished, unforgettable feel.
