Seeking pianist to create a melodic reduction of original instrumental material

This project requires creating a precise melodic reduction of a fully realized instrumental work, isolating its primary melodic contour.

Deliverables:
PDF in compact notation (single staff, clear rhythm, clear pitch, chord symbols).
MIDI file of the reduction for quality verification.

Requirements:
Applicants must be able to play and transcribe by ear and must have a working understanding of melodic reduction as taught ... in standard music theory. A sample of previous work is required.
If you are unfamiliar with the term melodic reduction, please do not apply.

We will provide the fully composed piece along with separated stems where available.

Skills:
Advanced ear training with strong melodic dictation ability
