Tutoring for Recording/Mixing Acoustic Guitar in Ableton Live 11 Lite and Audacity

For fun I am recording solo fingerstyle acoustic guitar on my OOO-28 Martin using a match pair of Rode M5 small-diaphragm condenser microphones in an XY position through a Universal Audio Volt 276 interface. The only way I could get the stereo volume balanced was to place the mics at the 12th fret about 16 inches from the guitar, but point the center of the XY at the sound hole which I read was bad so I might need some help with mic positioning/gain. My playing isn't per ... fect so there are sections/notes I'd like to be able to replace/overlay with second recordings and since the recording is only a single guitar I would like learn how to do some mixing to get it sounding clean and a little larger. Overall I'm definitely a beginner at using Ableton/Audacity, but have learned enough to be able to record and add effects/plug-ins. I'm not looking for a professional grade perfect recording, simply trying to post some videos for fun that I can be proud of. Below are the topics I'd like to learn.
