Drums and Bass

I’m looking for someone to create a custom drum track and bass track for an original song. The vocal part isn’t recorded yet; in the provided MP3s, the vocal melody is represented by a harmonica-like sound.

I’ve included two MP3 files:

One version with a “4 on the floor” beat that was used during recording

One version with no drums, so a custom drum part can be created

The “4 on the floor” beat cap ... tures the energy of the song well, but I’m hoping for more than a single repetitive beat throughout. I’m not an expert on different drum styles, so creative input is welcome — the main goal is to add personality and variation to the groove rather than looping the same pattern the whole time.

I’ve also attached all tracks as separate MIDI files for easy import into a DAW. The file named “only-chords-from-chord-track” comes from the global chord track in Studio One 6. These aren’t the exact notes I played, but they should make it easier to reconstruct the chord progression if helpful.

I’m also looking for a bass track. A PDF with the song’s chords is included to make following along easier, but feel free to work by ear if preferred. Creative freedom with bass notes is welcome if something fits the song better.

Additional notes:

There is a key change at measure 73: the key modulates up a half step from G to G# (or A♭, as rendered by the DAW).

At measure 47, the DAW labeled the chord as Gmaj9. This wasn’t intentional — I played a standard G chord on the piano and didn’t adjust the DAW’s chord detection. Please don’t feel constrained by that label. The intent is standard chords throughout unless something different musically feels better.
