Bass for rock song

I am working on a rock track (not mixed yet). Guitars are played by me, the rest is midi, and the vocal is a Synthesizer V guide track.

What I am looking for is a real bass performance to replace the midi. The only part that really needs to stay close is the intro acoustic-style bass riff. It was originally played on acoustic guitar then converted to bass through Ace Studio, so I would like that riff played the same, with clear pick attack, and it continue ... s under the first verse.

Outside of that, I would love you to make the rest your own. I have a simple midi bass line in there as a rough guide, plus a phased distorted bass in the build to the first chorus and a layered low bass under the higher riff section. If you have ideas that work better, please go for them.

• a reference mix with the midi bass,
• a version with bass muted, and
• the midi or audio bass stem on its own, or any other stems you need.

The guitar solo section will be from 2:11 to 2:55; the backing is already there and I will be recording the solo later.
