instrumental writing for guitar/bass

I’m looking to hire a guitarist/bassist to write original parts for my band. Our sound leans heavily toward Every Time I Die and Underoath, with touches of Motionless in White and Bad Omens — but with a twist: our vocalist falls more in the Circa Survive / Saosin / early Dance Gavin Dance range. So we’re looking for something aggressive and riff-driven, but still melodic and dynamic enough to support higher, emotional vocals. Enough complexity to stay exciting, but ... not over-the-top tech. Taste and groove > showing off.

Requirements:

Tuning: Drop C# (C# G# C# F# A# D#)

Original music only — no recycled riffs or prewritten packs

Must be willing to sign over full rights so my band can record, release, and perform without additional royalties

Looking for guitar + bass, but guitar-only is acceptable if it fits

DI tracks and/or tabs/Guitar Pro preferred (stems optional but appreciated)

Rough demo is fine — doesn’t need polished production
