Project: Female Vocalist Needed for Melodic House Rework of “What Is Love” (Haddaway)

I’m creating a modern melodic-house interpretation of “What Is Love” and need a vocalist capable of:
• Strong, warm chesty lower register
• Confident emotional delivery on the iconic chorus
• Smooth, controlled belt (A4–B4 range)
• Not overly aggressive – more soulful strength
• Ability to sustain long phrases wit ... h stability
• Clean, modern tone (not diva or theatrical)

The song requires a singer who can express:
• Emotional power
• Resilience
• Conviction
• A “rising from the ashes” energy
I will provide a lowered key (3–5 semitones below the original) to keep the vocals powerful without strain.
