Looking for session pros to wrap up largely finished songs.

I have a couple albums' worth of songs that are in various stages of stalled production, mostly because for each one I (1) lack specific skills or resources required to wrap them up to a certain standard; (2) don't have time to master a bunch of new skills; and at the same time, (3) don't want to settle for mediocre music just for the sake of doing everything myself. I've done recordings that are okay, meaning better than demos but not up to professional quality. The for ... mal elements (the various instrumental parts, arrangements etc.) are fairly tight, but something is always lacking in terms of musicianship, sound quality, production technique etc. (on my end). The current mixes give more than a sketch of how each song should sound, so there's not a lot of brainstorming necessary. Style is all over the place given diverse inspirations (songbook standards, acoustic blues, 50s rock and roll, Shirley Collins, The Beatles, Bowie, 80s J-pop, The Flaming Lips, Jane Weaver...to name a few), so expect anything in that flavour or beyond. In general, the music is focused on (I hope) tight melodies and thoughtful lyrics. Although I play somewhat decent guitar, any pro will play better. As for bass, I can get ideas out, but on the whole I'm dreadful. Drum skills are non-existent. These are the instruments I'll be needing the most help with. And then mixing and mastering.

If I tried to choose 3 or 4 albums that sum up the kind of sound I'm always roughly aiming for, they'd be the following: Gandalf 1969 (Gandalf), Modern Kosmology (Jane Weaver), Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (The Flaming Lips), and The Beatles (White Album). Lastly, for now I won't upload samples to the site but I'm happy to provide them when we connect.
