I am an animation graduate student producing a thesis film: Seeking a Composer and Sound Designer

My film takes place in a cave in a prehistoric setting. I am looking for someone to produce a score that can assist the storytelling of the film and enhance the audience's emotional experience. I am primarily interested in woodwind-adjacent instruments and drums, with the possibility of including vocals as well. My goal is to try to match the tone of the film with possible instruments you might encounter in this prehistoric setting. At the very least, it is to convey and ... enhance to the audience the foreignness of the setting and provide a sense of wonder and mysticism. A lot of inspiration will likely come from North and South American instrumental music.

For the sound design, I am hoping to have quality sound effects accompany the characters and environment, from footsteps and grunts to water dripping and the swishing of a torch flame. Additionally, the film has no dialogue. There are sounds produced by humans and animals, but no dialogue is present.

$500 is the anticipated budget, but this commission is negotiable.
