I’ll Be Your Rhythm Section — i'll Record Live Bass & Drums for Your Song for $175

I’ll record a complete live bass and drum rhythm section for your song.

Bass and drums are the instruments I’ve spent the most time playing professionally, and I approach them as a rhythm section rather than as two unrelated parts. My goal is to create parts that work together, support the song and give the track the right feel, groove and personality.

My approach to drums is groove-oriented and focused on feel, pocket and serving the song. I generally favor strong, musical beats over unnecessarily complicated parts, while adapting my playing to what the music calls for.

My approach to bass, on the other hand, covers a much broader range — from simple, groove-oriented lines that lock tightly with the drums to more complex, melodic and expressive bass parts. It all depends on the song and the role the bass needs to play within the arrangement.

I can follow existing bass and drum parts closely, or create new parts from scratch based on your demo and direction. I’m also happy to experiment and develop something more distinctive when the music calls for it.

You’ll receive professionally recorded individual bass and drum tracks ready to import into your session.

This service includes one complete bass performance, one complete drum performance and up to 3 rounds of revisions.

Pricing can be flexible depending on the scope of the project. I’m also happy to discuss a custom rate for larger projects or bundles of multiple songs.
