Composition/Orchestration Lessons for $40

I have more than 20 years of experience and hold a Master's degree from the University of Birmingham. I'm a professor of composition and orchestration at UPC, Peru. My music has been performed in various countries and is published by Cayambis Music Press. I've also written the soundtracks for eight Peruvian feature films and have received awards for some of my works.

I teach in the standard way, by giving students assignments and then providing appropriate feedback and suggesting courses of action to improve the quality of their work. Lessons are focused mainly on commenting musical examples and providing feedback. I don't impose any particular musical style but I do ask for originality and attention to detail.

IMPORTANT:
Please contact me before placing an order. Also, I don't teach songwriting or arrangement. My musical style and experience are within what is known as "contemporary classical music".

Also, you must:
1) Have a basic level of proficiency in playing an instrument, preferably (but not necessarily) the piano.
2) Have at least basic knowledge of harmony and musical notation.
3) Have some experience in using music notation software.
