You’ve practiced for years. You’ve honed your craft. Your songs are great.

So why does your live show still fall flat?

Maybe the clubs don’t call back. Maybe the audience starts engaged but slowly drifts away. Maybe you’re a great musician, but something about the show just isn’t connecting.

Playing great music and putting on a great show are two different skills.

It takes years of live performance experience to understand how to build dynamics, control the energy of a room, maintain an audience’s attention, and turn a collection of songs into a compelling performance.

That’s where I come in.

I’ve spent decades working as a professional musician, musical director, consultant, coach, and ensemble leader in professional music organizations and medium- to large-scale productions. I’ve performed hundreds of shows across multiple genres and learned firsthand what keeps an audience engaged and what loses them.

I specialize in pop, rock, hard rock, acoustic, blues, jazz, country, and folk.

I’m also a songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and producer, so I approach your performance from both sides of the stage: as a musician and as an objective show director.

What I’ll Do

Send me a video(s) of your live performance and your current setlist. I will analyze up to one hour of your show and give you actionable recommendations, including:

* Setlist optimization — song selection, order, pacing, energy, and emotional flow.
* Song transitions — creative ways to start, stop, connect, and transition between songs while eliminating unnecessary dead space.
* Dynamics & arrangements — where to build, where to pull back, and how to create contrast so the biggest moments actually feel big.
* Audience engagement — identify where you’re gaining or losing the room and what you can change to maintain attention.
* Stage communication — what to say, when to say it, and where talking belongs in your set.
* Overall show architecture — turning individual songs into a performance with a beginning, development, peaks, valleys, and a memorable ending.

The consultation will be delivered in an hour video session on FaceTime, zoom, messenger etc. With a delivered PDF or a pre recorded video.
