Kurt Kreimier is a Composer and Producer who writes in a variety of musical styles, focusing mainly on Jazz, New Age, Neoclassical, Easy Listening and Ambient. His music is heard regularly on a wide variety of television shows. He has also had music placed in feature films, corporate promotions and special events. A number of his Neoclassical works have also been included in several compilations and his music is heard regularly through commercial music services.
Kurt received a BA Degree in Music with Honors from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago where he played saxophone and flute in one of the most respected and award winning college jazz ensembles in the nation, capturing outstanding big band honors several years in a row at both the Elmhurst Collegiate Jazz Festival and the prestigious Notre Dame Collegiate Jazz Festival. Other notable members of this jazz ensemble included the late saxophonist Art Porter Jr. and former Tonight Show bassist Kenny Davis. Kurt has played with some of the best local musicians in Chicago, San Jose and Orlando.
