My name is Konstantin. I was born in Moscow, Russia into a family of classical musicians. As I started to gravitate towards other genres of music, like pop, electronica and hip-hop, my childhood became saturated with a wide variety of musical styles. Fast-forward to mid 2000s, I moved to Boston, US, finished school and became a mechanical engineer, working in the fiber laser & high-power amplifier industry. All of my free time was occupied by producing music. In the early 2010s, my grandparents were involved in a car accident that took my grandmother's life. I quit my job and moved to Rochester, NY to take care of my grandfather. I decided to pursue music full-on, so I entered the world of Berklee College of Music and came out with a Bachelor of Electronic Music Production and Sound Engineering. The diversity of my musical interests, on top of 6 years of (official) experience, have really helped me work with all kinds of different projects:
- producing, mixing, mastering music genres ranging from soundtrack to pop to electronica to trap to experimental (the list goes on)
- editing, arranging and mixing music for clients
- editing and mastering classical albums
- editing, restoring, mixing and mastering podcasts, short films, documentaries
- performing live
- releasing a self-produced and engineered album with fellow Berklee students (Hungry Creatures)
