Jordan Maier is a recent transplant to Seattle, but was a familiar face to many
in the Chicago music scene. Attending Columbia College for Jazz
Performance, and rounding out his education through lessons with his idols,
Jordan wanted to gain a broader musical scope.

Making a concerted effort to work with the most diverse range of musicians
possible, he could be found playing gospel for south-side churches; Latin dance
music in taquerias across the city; hip hop, jazz, and R&B in underground clubs;
indie rock for original projects Big Syn, Chicago Loud 9, and On Division;
working as a hired gun for recording sessions; and of course the muchmaligned
yet ever-present gig in any working musician's monthly roster:
weddings.

For Jordan, the move to Seattle was another in a relentless string of attempts to
expand his musical horizons. LA was an option, New York was tossed around.

and inspirational beauty of the Northwest.

In addition to performance, Jordan is also a seasoned engineer, composing and
producing music for commercial music libraries.
