Emily Booher is a cellist and composer from El Paso, TX. She began working at Sonic Ranch recording studios, while in high school, as a recording cellist. Since then she has worked internationally with artists such as Ximena Sariñana, Kalimba, Fiona Apple, The Vaccines and countless others. Throughout her recording career she has become interested in full string composition- recording her debut session at Church House studios in Austin, TX, entitled “The Synesthesia Project”(2017). “Noche” is her debut single from that project, recorded by the
Tosca String Quartet and her own cello. Her aim is to mix together the idea of pop music with classical music. She now works between Texas and Mexico City, arranging strings for projects, and playing cello with bands and artists.
