I am a disabled Vietnam vet who began to seriously play guitar in 2017 as an alternative to the drugs the VA was feeding me for my "supposed" PTSD. Music is DEFINITELY the better therapy. Prior to this, I was an on again-off again (mostly off) guitar player for 20 years, having started at the late age of 44.
One thing led to another. I hired an incredible guitar instructor (AlbertO, also known as Albert Hurtado) and after a year of playing scales, we decided it was time to record. I now have a high-quality home recording studio.
Every year, I produce a CD album and calendar, which I give away free to the 180+ people on my email blast list, as a gift for still being alive and thanks to all those who supported me.
I look forward to working with any musicians who can help me achieve the best quality sound and performance.
Cheers,
Jim Hawkins
