I grew up with music and a big brother who was constantly introducing me (and making me listen to) different music. Though most of the time I found that the music I didn't like at first, really had a lot of positive things about it. Like that song "Gimme On Reason" by Tracy Chapman. I hated it, then suddenly I realized "this is a good freaking song". I then saw a random guitar at the age of 13 sitting against the wall that my dad had found in a clients attic (he did lots of side construction jobs, she said he could have it). That's where it all started.

Now at 37 years old I have been playing many different instruments and learning for the last 10 years all about recording, engineering, production, live shows, mixing and mastering. I live in a very small town of about 300 people, up in the mountains with a wife and son and my primary living is based off of cutting timber but hope to one day stop doing that dangerous job and spend my time mixing/mastering and producing music.
