Becci Wallace, has firmly placed herself at the heart of the Scottish music and songwriting community . Gathering momentum, collecting memories and pieces of songs; Becci has weaved herself a rich tapestry of content; lyrically and musically. Few artists work as tirelessly, through community based projects and education; sharing their songwriting techniques and ideas in the hope of igniting the creative fire in Scotland's young people.
Enjoy her uniquely soaring vocals, tight harmonies and lyrical style. Her firm belief in the truth of the song, shines through in her work and has made her a regular with viewers of STV Glasgow, Celtic Connections and on the Scottish Festival circuit. The first thing you will notice, is her tireless energy and zest for music and writing. Through her craft and determination, Becci has gained countless allies in the world of songwriting and has become a tutor, lecturer and promoter of young artists. Becci works within many genres, co-writing for the Pearlfishers latest album 'Love and Other Hopeless Things', Catherine Rudie's 'The Mobius Kiss' and Loki's Government Issue Music Protest- all met with critical acclaim nationally.
She is also a session singer and can catch harmonies by ear effortlessly.
As a solo artist her first album Fragmentlaity was released in 2015, gaining plaudits across the country and securing multiple national and local radio plays. Her current project 'Present Tense' will be released in November.
She has co written and worked along side David Scott, Jo Mango, Jo Bennet, Findlay Napier, David Sinclair, Andy White, Little Rach, Yvonne Lyon as well as at the Harris institution in Toronto and the Columbia University in Chicago.
